BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Hyderabad, India · FULL-TIME

Business Development Executive

Build the top of IICL's enterprise sales funnel through focused account research, multi-channel prospecting, disciplined follow-up and accurate CRM management. The role is designed for an energetic early-career professional who can turn relevant business conversations into qualified meetings for IICL's AI solutions, enterprise technology services and technology team expansion offerings.

What you will do

Research target accounts, industries, decision-makers and active business triggers across enterprises, technology centres, product companies and growth-stage businesses.
Build and maintain clean prospect lists using approved research sources, LinkedIn, event databases and internal account intelligence.
Execute personalised outreach through email, LinkedIn and calls; avoid generic, high-volume messaging that does not reflect the prospect's context.
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against IICL's ideal-customer profile, business need, authority, urgency and likely engagement fit.
Schedule discovery meetings, product demonstrations and capability discussions for senior sales and solution leaders.
Prepare concise account briefs, meeting agendas, follow-up notes and next-action summaries before and after every prospect interaction.
Support proposals, capability decks, RFP responses, case-study selection and commercial documentation in coordination with solution, delivery and marketing teams.
Maintain complete and current CRM records, including contact details, source, stage, activity history, next step, owner and expected timeline.
Follow up consistently on open conversations, event contacts, referrals and dormant leads while protecting IICL's professional brand.
Track competitor activity, prospect objections and market signals, and share useful insights with the Business Development and Marketing teams.

What we are looking for

Clear spoken and written English, with the confidence to communicate with business and technology stakeholders.
Strong online research, spreadsheet and presentation skills; attention to data quality is essential.
A structured approach to prospecting, follow-up and daily activity management.
Curiosity about AI, automation, cloud, data, enterprise applications and technology services.
Ability to learn product and service propositions quickly and explain them in plain business language.
Professional judgement, persistence without pressure, and respect for prospect privacy and communication preferences.

Preferred background

Internship or experience in B2B sales, inside sales, lead generation, recruitment, SaaS, IT services or enterprise technology.
Exposure to a CRM platform and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, technology or a related discipline; equivalent practical capability is also welcome.

How success will be measured

Final targets are agreed by role and review period. Core measures include:

Qualified meetings created and accepted by the sales owner.
Conversion of researched accounts and conversations into sales-qualified opportunities.
Quality, completeness and timeliness of CRM data and follow-up actions.
Personalisation and relevance of outreach, not activity volume alone.
Contribution to pipeline influenced through events, referrals, campaigns and direct prospecting.
